Question about Car Warranty … used car dealer?
I recently bought a used car in a major dealer and bought a warranty through them, which was added to the cost of the loan I took to get the vehicle. Within 10 months, this car has broken down 3 times and so far the guarantee did not include $ 1 repair. But the warranty cost me $ 69 dollars months and does not seem to cover anything that breaks. Is it possible to cancel this coverage if it was added to the loan for the vehicle, or I'm just unlucky. While it may be canceled, how?
Ah, you find the hard way that extended warranties are not worth the paper on which they are printed. It is a huge money maker for the dealer and a huge pita to the owner of the car. Most Extended warranties are a complete rip off. Yes, you can cancel coverage. It's like an insurance policy. Call the company that administers the guarantee (and not the seller, all they do is sell the product) and tell them you want to cancel the contract. It will cost you. They charge you cancellation fee and they pro-rate refund, but you will get a portion of your money.

2001 Honda Civic rust on the roof?
Ok Here is my Delemer. Took the car to the dealership today to have to look representative Honda on the car. They said that the windshield was replaced and the damaged metal technology. So that's why the roof is rust. He refused to fix it. I called Honda customer service and asked if she was still under warranty of 5 years rust would they cover it. They said yes. I am only 1 year warranty. Should they give me some kind of help? Dealer wants 837.00 to repair and repaint the roof. I would not people bought the car they need such a costly repair. I'm surprised a reputable dealer Honda will sell a car on their lot with rust on it. Do you think they would have noticed one thing when the took the car in trade? I would think they have spoken to the former owner and tell him / her, they would reduce the trade in value for the necessary repairs. Where were the only car in less than two weeks. Do you that it is too late to go back? Advice?
