determine the cheapest unleaded petrol in diesel car problem?
A second ended with half a tank of petrol unleaded diesel in his car (I know, I know). A mechanic suggested adding the trade trick hydraulic oil to unleaded as an option for cheap tanks emptied etc. etc. He thinks that after my trim tank with 30 liters of diesel will solve the problem. Someone can verify this method as a viable and if so, what quantity of oil to 30 liters of gasoline? The car is out of warranty if this is not a problem. Thank you for any help.
His mechanics is a con – you can not thicken gasoline with oil once in the tank: He does not mix properly. Just get a manual or electric pump cheap liquid Halfords, Ebay or similar drain what you can from the tank into drums (a garage or exploitation will empty drums) and fill it with diesel. Empty the fuel filter and fill this with clean diesel too. If the car ran OK until it stopped, it should be OK.
