if someone has their car at the dealership or repair shop for repair, but the problem persists?
will they pay for additional repairs needed to solve the problem? Or not, since the dealer got the wrong diagnosis of the first time around? And if this car isn't under warranty and is old?
If you take a car to a repair shop and they diagnose and repair, but the problem persists. You are entitled to a refund. I had this problem in the past. One shop owner claimed the repair parts were necessary, even if does not fix my specific problem. I told her we could make California Bureau of Automotive repair set the dispute. He immediately agreed to remove the unnecessary parts and issue a refund. Another shop does a repair that does not solve my problem. I requested a refund, and he informed me that his mechanic would not be paid for his work and had childern who are not fed and dressed, all lies, of course! Can you believe that any adult would act like that. I informed him of the law of the State and the problem disappeared. Some of these machines are also pathetic that people auto sales.
