Am I able to take my car to another workshop for re-repair?
* Sigh * And the drama continues! A guy hit me in my 2006 Mazda6 i, "T-boned me on the driver side. Claim is still ongoing. I have chosen a repair shop listed with my ins. Corporate Circle of Excellence ", which includes a warranty for repairs. There are still a few things wrong with the car. The thing is, repairs are 7 weeks. There was no indication that this would even be done until I called and yelled at people. And then (magically!) it was prepared 5 days later! And this is just a tiny sampling of this tragedy, I have been through this! Is that asking too much for my new car (less than 6 months. Vieille, less than 10K miles) back into the same shape it had before the accident? And insurance co. let me take it to a repair shop Mazda? I do not know if I can deal with these people more.
Check with your state lemon laws, if the vehicle is repaired to the satisfaction and safety regulations, it can be considered a loss, an insurance company will push the limits of repairing cars that really should not, they like to use there repair ring shit, check it out at your local office DMV, good luck
