Is what I can do my used vehicle?

I bought a used car in August 2007. It was Store at least once a month due to mechanical problems. He still has warranty on it and every time I bring something to the dealership is not covered and I have to pay out of pocket on top of a franchise. This car has been in the store for a month after I bought it. Is there any kind of law for used cars?

Of course there are legal actions you can take. If you can afford to be without a car for a very long time and have time and patience to keep on hearing dates, counsel for visit, get the facts sorted, calculate losses have the deal with this problem, and then convince a judge to believe you, then you should pursue this legislation. Car dealers Used very well aware of this weakness. They know too well that most people do not bother to prosecute them for any wrongdoing. This is the reason why they are so brazen about the sale of junk and arrogant after the sale. Very rarely we see a consumer who actually takes the trouble to continue these guys. And even these vary rare cases, these dealers of used cars are fully prepared with their legal teams too. This is not an easy task. I would write this out of a bad experience. Take my losses and move on. No point in losing your peace of mind during this bad experience, and probably expensive. Kafka said: "In the fight between you and th world, its best to be on the side the world! "You will stay happy this way.

If I buy a used car still under warranty, and there is a problem, what happens?

I'll buy a new car. The best deals always seem to be "Joe's summary used car sales" in the street. If I buy a used car, well within the manufacturer's warranty, but I quickly found a problem, will honor the manufacturer warranty? Or will the concessionaire or manufacturer does not claim it as junk "had not been properly maintained," or "it was no use normal, and that's what caused the problem "or something else? Is the warranty in this case even really worth anything? it is actually still in force, reality?

Depends on what builder you are talking about. Also depends on the warranty and what is the problem. Examples: 1) You have a nice drive WRX factory to bumper warranty, trans fails three months after purchase. Yes it is covered, until of course they open the trans and that he was abused. You end up paying to fix it. 2) Think you have a 100.000 mile warranty on your Hyundai you suppose you are covered, until you read the fine print and realize that if all services and maintenance must be documented and at specific intervals or void the warranty. Warranties do not cover everything either, tires, brakes, filters, etc. .. they are all wearing parts that need be replaced by the owner. The factory warranty is in fact technically things right, like if the radio does not work or does not run on windows from top to bottom, are generally covered without too much problem.

Should I consider buying this Subaru?

I found a Subaru Outback Limited sedan 2000 for sale for $ 6300. It seems likeit is in good condition and has been supported. It has 128,000 miles on it makes me nervous about buying. Now I pay overtime $ 700 I can get an extended warranty of 3 years unlimited miles. Does subaru worth $ 7k and it will last me about 5 years longer if I do scheduled maintenance. I do not know if there are any records of service for the car. I am 16 and need a car-wheel drive in case I screw his best ive seen them and can not afford. The car books for $ 8400 so the dealer is selling it well below that and I also want to negotiate the price too. Please help

Not many come with AWD on the cheap. But maybe you can find old toyota matrix for cheaper, and lat you you, no matter how many miles she has on her.

Why GM and Chrysler want to have fewer dealers to sell their products?

GM and Chrysler are bankrupt because they can not sell enough cars to make a profit. GM and Chrysler did not sell us their cars. The independent distributor sells its products. These customers are manufacturers distributors ONLY car without them, they can not sell cars. How does excluding them solve the problem of cars. The dealership is the only source of revenue for automakers not a liability. Add in the lost parts sales and warranty service dealer supplies dealers and closing as much sense as closing stores to help improve the bottom line Kraft Foods.

The market is saturated with dealers. Yes, dealers sell the product that GM does, but there is too much competition among GM dealers. GM needs to keep the dealers with the greatest satisfaction customers and the service's highest service ranking. Brokers who do not meet standards of training of GM, or have unsatisfactory levels of customer satisfaction, are not in the best interest of the company. In addition, they are not driven out of business. GM is giving them 18 months notice, which gives them 18 months to prepare to sell something else. Most dealers are private franchises and dealers are not out Company. They will just need to prepare to sell something else.

If you buy a used car you get 3 months warranty by law?

its that true? or I'm off to buy a warranty? (UK) sorry for my spelling

no it is not true, not many cars had legally give you a warranty on any used car, and generally they are used, most of them are sold as is, these days, if I were you, and I wanted to buy a used car Id have checked very good before I bought it, it might save you from wasting a lot of money, some dealers offer a warranty, but most of them charge for it, if they offer it free to take it, I would not pay a lot for any guarantee, however, most of they are not worth the paper they are written on these days, it can be a little different in the UK, but here in the states of the guarantee are not always help buyers, good luck with it.

Jiffy Lube, Belle Tire, the dealer (oil change)?

I am one – these things and more or fewer steps – new owner a car, and this is the first time for me to move. I drive a 2008 Saturn Aura, which I just need to get a simple oil change done, and I was wondering if I should go to: a., b. Jiffy Lube, Belle Tire c., dealer (probably the most expensive!) Does one of you know how much it would cost and what would be the best option? In addition, there is something I should be aware of? I got screwed over once and do not want not that happen again .. I know a little about cars, but do not want to touch mine since my concern for the security …..-_- Please assist us in advance:)

I change my own oil, but if I took it somewhere, I bring it to the dealership. They will be approximately $ 20 higher, but they know your vehicle better than any other place.

Am I able to take my car to another workshop for re-repair?

* Sigh * And the drama continues! A guy hit me in my 2006 Mazda6 i, "T-boned me on the driver side. Claim is still ongoing. I have chosen a repair shop listed with my ins. Corporate Circle of Excellence ", which includes a warranty for repairs. There are still a few things wrong with the car. The thing is, repairs are 7 weeks. There was no indication that this would even be done until I called and yelled at people. And then (magically!) it was prepared 5 days later! And this is just a tiny sampling of this tragedy, I have been through this! Is that asking too much for my new car (less than 6 months. Vieille, less than 10K miles) back into the same shape it had before the accident? And insurance co. let me take it to a repair shop Mazda? I do not know if I can deal with these people more.

Check with your state lemon laws, if the vehicle is repaired to the satisfaction and safety regulations, it can be considered a loss, an insurance company will push the limits of repairing cars that really should not, they like to use there repair ring shit, check it out at your local office DMV, good luck
