Gm New Car Warranty Transfer

Toyota Certified Warranty Transfer?
I am thinking of buying a 2001 Toyota Solara. According to Carfax, the first owner bought it again and it ran for four years. Then, the second owner bought it as a Toyota Certified Used car, he drove for almost 2 years and sold in a GM dealership. The GM dealer, who I think to buy does not know too much about this warranty, the only reason we know it is that its in the Carfax. The guarantee has another year left and I would really appreciate having this guarantee, but how could we transfer? Is there a number you dial to get to this transfer, or does it automaticlly transfer without doing anything? Any ideas would be great! Thank you!
it depends if it transferable from owner to owner. I know when you by new, you can get the package for the transfer, it depends just when the other guy bought the car when it was certified if he got the package to transfer again to another party. best thing to do is take the wine and Toyota call or send an email. is best to call them at 1-800-Go-Toyota
