Is it better to blow up an old engine with high mileage, under warranty?
I'm going to buy a 2000 Chevy Malibu, it has 150,000 miles on it, but a full year motor 1 / tranny warranty. Everyone told me to blow the motor controlling the car because the warranty is to replace the engine. Is this a good idea, or that rumors friendly?
A good mechanic would quickly determine the reason for the engine failure was abused or neglect. This voids the warranty. If a dealer offered such a warranty on a vehicle with that many miles on it, it would indicate that the seller had firsthand knowledge of how the vehicle has been serviced and is convinced he held during the warranty period with appropriate care. With proper care and regular maintenance of modern engines can easily give good service almost indefinitely. This is not the "rumor friendly "is stupid advice.

2000 Chevrolet Corvette with almost 180,000 miles?
Hello everyone, I posted a question about this last night. I found a corvette with nearly 180k miles and they want about 9500, from a dealer. Dealer extended warranty available. No idea how he was taken, where he was taken, etc. I intend to watch this weekend and take it to a mechanic. The car is red with no significant defect in the paint shines almost better than my wives 07 Mazda CX-7. Of course, appearances can be deceiving. I have the VIN of the car, do you know a site where I can obtain a free carfax type thing? Do you think the price is right? Would you go for it? What do you offer? Thank you very much in advance.
This is a vette. Not a Lexus. You do not buy a vette for the ride. You buy it for performance and handling. If you are worried about the race, you're too old for a vette. It's a lot of miles for a vette 8 years. I have a Carfax on it (or better yet ask the dealer for it). Many vette owners (like me) take good care of their cars. I know a guy with a 1999 that has led all days during the first 8 years when he wins in big shows with him. Paint looks great. Vette owners in general are quite anal about their cars, especially their care. Except it was owned by someone who does not like the car at all, chances are good that great care taken of him. I do not know what to say except make sure you have a good warranty. Vettes are very expensive to have worked on (the tax Corvette). In addition, realize that the tires are run flats (you have no spare) and cost an arm and a leg (around $ 400 per tire) and they last less than 20,000 miles. my phone got wet .. now i cannot hear when people call?
I have the Cingular Sync (SGH A707) and I thrown over the seat in my car and it bounced on the seat off the center console, back against the seat of the car door and into the gutter. I caught on super fast and dries very quickly. i didn't even throw it hard, like at all. i hadnt had any problems until today when I thought my friend was bored and did not talk to me on the phone. I put it on speaker and could hear his take-off, couldnt. I could hear my voice slightly off speaker, but he seemed deaf and I could not understand. yes, we called my house .. my father shouted into the phone and I could not hear it. but we also really bad reception at home .. this could be the problem? Also, I have no assurance in this regard. Is it under warranty? It was a total freak accident. also, can I get the top cover out of it, to dry the speaker if it is wet? help!
You probably tempered some of the circuits. This is analogous to pouring a glass of water on your computer. Well, take it to the store and see what they say cingjular. Do not worry, I have blonde moments too, and I'm bald.
